Chronology of cameras Gambs
This tourist camera is mahogany and brass. Its leather bellows has square corners. It has a double extension and offset of the lens plate.
It has tripod screwed sockets conforming to Kodak and Congress standards on the bottom and one side.
The lens is a "Carl Zeiss Jena No. 12873 Anastigmat 1. 9 F ~ 150 mm D.RP. 56109". The diaphragm is perforated, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128.
Gambs was not the successor of Boulade brothers company that lasted very long, but he had to take over one of the workshops, located in the city center, while Boulade continued in the neighborhood of Montplaisir near Lumière factories.
